JVFax is a program for receiving and transmitting 
Radiofax and Slow-Scan Television (SSTV) through 
a (amateur radio) tranceiver.    

Note that although JVFax normally uses a hardware 
tranceiver interface, the program allows for input 
and output redirection via a TSR (such as the SBTSR).

Caution: There is a 7.1 version of JVFAX, but it is 
a reduced capability program that eliminated GIF.

SBTSR is a TSR redirector for use with the JVFax 
program (version 7.0 or higher), that redirects input 
and output from a tranceiver through a Soundblaster
card (instead of a normal JVFax hardware interface).
