[Q] I'm working on a new galaxy, and I'd like to send it to a
friend. What should I do?

[A] First, you need to get it into a zipfile, then you need to
send it either as a MIME attachment or in UUencoded format.
Assuming your galaxy is in the "dude" directory, zip it up:

   pkzip -rP dude.zip dude\*.*

This should create a file called dude.zip which will contain your
galaxy. Then, either send it as an attached file or uuencode it
(uuencode & uudecode are at ftp://ftp.cs.pdx.edu/pub/frp/util)
and send the uuencoded file. A word of warning: your friend will
have to unzip the file using the -d flag: pkunzip -d dude.zip.
Also, make sure he's using at least as recent a version of
pkunzip as you are using of pkzip. The latest, last I checked,
was version 2.04g, but that may be obsolete by the time you
read this. If he doesn't have pkunzip, he can try using winzip
instead, and there are other flavors out there for the more
adventurous.

After he's created a "dude" directory and unzipped your galaxy,
he'll still need to edit the galaxy.lst file so that Starmap
will know about your galaxy.
